17th February

Hardly got my camera out of the bag for a long time now but arranged to go to Battersea Power Station to do some night photography. there was a light festival on at the time which added a bit of colour to the reflections. We stayed until after dark to photograph the power station with the reflections on the Thames. It was a nice day with a friend, especially the visit to the Rising Sun for a glass of pinot!

27th February 2023

A trip to the Hawk Conservancy and another chance to photograph some birds in flight. It wasn't the best day weatherise as cloudy with a cold wind. A few below of the days effort including a bald eagle and stork

6th May 2023

This fox is often seen early in the morning in our garden and today I decided to photograph it.

11th May - A day in the garden

17th May - a trip to Bushy Park again. The Egyptian geese had several goslings and they kept following me round the park, maybe in the hope of some food? Some of the red deer were protecting their youngsters, but this one below was curious as to what I was doing.

16th June - I went with a friend to visit a woodland hide to photograph some birds.

A beautiful bullfinch

Great spotted woodpecker

Song thrush

Male blackbird feeding a youngster

Adult & young woodpecker

An attempt to photograph some harvest mice. They are very difficult to capture as very small and incredibly active.

8th September - a walk along the canal with a friend and her 2 dogs Ralphie & Cody. I love this photo which was taken with my iPhone as you can see the fun they are both having

22nd September - another walk with my friend and her dogs , this time to Fleet Pond

29th December, I love this photo of my friend's cat Barnie who didn't move from this position for ages (taken with my phone)
