As the weather improved I was determined to go out with my camera more, especially as spring was nearing and I wanted to see the swans, ducks & geese with their young again. That was before Coronavirus hit our shores and we were eventually forced to "lockdown" from 24th March meaning we had to stay indoors apart from daily exercise, essential shopping and work, which for me was a necessity as a critical care nurse, albeit semi-retired. This meant I was not able to visit Bushy Park or other areas that I like to go. These pictures were taken before the lockdown.
Bushy Park. The Egyptian geese had 6 goslings this year and still come running up to you as you approach them. Of course I have some duck food for them, which they enjoy. I love these and will miss seeing them grow up due to the lockdown.

This little gosling was adorable, standing up with wings opened looking like he wants a cuddle.

A close up of one of the goslings cuddling up with his siblings and mother

Fleet Pond. This swan was chasing the geese and ducks away, wanting all the food for himself. I did manage to ensure the others had some food as well. One of the last photos before we had to restrict our movements.
